See the searches ChatGPT runs behind every answer
The queryfanout extension watches your own ChatGPT conversations and records the web searches ChatGPT runs to answer them. On Google AI Mode and AI Overviews it records your query and the sources the answer cites. Everything is kept in your browser so you can go back through it, visualise it and export it. Sharing to the open index is one click and anonymous.
Live fan-out panel
A side panel shows each prompt's searches the moment ChatGPT runs them.
Prompt → searches chart
Open any capture to see how each search relates to your prompt: the words the AI kept, the words it added, and the ones it dropped.
Your fan-out history
Every capture is stored locally. Search it, filter it, and reopen any one.
Patterns over time
Searches per prompt, the words the AI adds most, the domains ChatGPT cites, and searches that keep coming back.
Export everything
Every chart as PNG or SVG and every table as CSV or JSON, from a single capture to your whole history.
Anonymous sharing
One click adds your captures to the open index. No account or API key; captures carry a random ID for your browser, not your name.
